Superimposing Two Charts

Thank you for an awesome D3 charting library!

I have been reading the wiki and working my way through all of the samples; however, I have not yet figured out how to do the following:

I need to superimpose two charts with different vertical axis and be able to dynamically allow the user to adjust their vertical position of the second chart so that the graphs are on top of each other.

The first chart has a vertical range of 1.3 to 1.5 - the second chart has a vertical range of +300 to - 300.

They both have the same horizontal axis.

The first question is how do I set the range of the vertical axis?

The second question is how do I provide a way for the user to adjust the vertical position of the second chart so that the graph exactly overlaps the first chart - the charts have a very similar graph pattern.

Any help would be appreciated.

D3 is an awesome library but more documentation on how to use it would be deeply appreciated.

Best regards,
