Out Of Memory Exception in plotting 200000 points

As per the sample Bing Maps(crop density) given, we tried to plot 200000 points. Its trying to plot points. but after certain amount of time its getting refresh back and replotting again. This is happening for 3 to 4 times, after that out of memory exception is raised making the application to crash.

Is there any limit for the points to be plotted?

Any Solution wil be good apreciated........

I just had a well thought out response to this, but codeplex lost it on 'Save'.  The short version: It isn't D3.  It's Microsoft's .NET WPF Canvas control that D3 uses.  After 50,000 points, the canvas control hits a performance limit and slows down exponentially up  to 100,000.  We opened a Microsoft case and they tried to give us a bunch of crap to try that was just busy work.  They told us not to use the canvas like that in the end.  We still use D3, but we are careful about the number of points we use.  No performance hit up until about 10,000.  Unacceptable, but we get by.
