Value ball that follows the cursor.

Hi,

Another cool feature would be to have a "value ball" that follows the graph in either the x or y plane:

This could then be displayed with a tooltop or retrieved to be shown in a textbox elsewhere.

Good idea, we've thought about it, too.

Definitely we'll have it in D3, but now I can't say something certain about dates.

Has this been added?

Hi,

We've added some part of the feature we've spoken about.

I've recorded two videos about something that you are possibly speaking about:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0RTpIPPi0o and

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FynTxBbocXY

These projects are available in 'Source code' page, in the latest Changeset, in DynamicDataDisplay.sln/DevSamples/ projects LineTestSample and AxisControlSample.

If you have more questions, I'll willingly answer them.

Best regards,

Mikhail.

I found LineTestSample and AxisControlSample in this changeset: http://dynamicdatadisplay.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/28519.

Many things changed in D3 code since then. Are there any examples how to achieve that functionality on current (latest) code?
