Vb.Net: The name "ChartPlotter" does not exist in the namespace "http://research.microsoft.com/DynamicDataDisplay/1.0"

I am keen to use D3 for WPF in an existing large VB.Net application, but I can't get it to work. I have set up a small test project, and have added DynamicDataDisplay.dll to my references. I can see all the Microsoft.Research names in my imported namespaces.
have included the following line in my xaml:
xmlns:d3="http://research.microsoft.com/DynamicDataDisplay/1.0"
  • but when I try any of the xaml taken from the samples provided, I get error messages such as the one above. For me this is a complete showstopper so I would appreciate your help!
