Documentation and status of project

Dear community of D3, although impressive in features, responsiveness and overall look and feel of charts, I must say that documentation is rather low for such a product. A great deal of developing good graphing library, but you have to spend hours and hours looking through discussion threads, of other problems, to come to a hint on how to do something.

I am in the process of implementing the library for seismic signal analysis, using graphing of seismic reports and processing. Yet, to even do a simple line graph with TimeSpan for axis, took me several days to get a hint.

Is there also another way to save the graph to image rather than just the save clipboard? If so please tell since the clipboard on occasions cuts off the horizontal axis. I have several samples of this I can send to you.

Please let me know if there is a repository, wiki, or other documentation for the 0.4.0 version. The 0.3.1 version, I had to downgrade to, has most of the documentation and samples available.

Thank you,
